Roar Lindland made a strong improvement in Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia last season and finished fourth in the championship. For this season the Norwegian wants to keep his position in the top five.
“My goal is top five and to score more podium finishes,” said Lindland.

Consistency is one the strength of Lindland and the Norwegian finished all races last season, something that is going to be even more important this season according to the 33-year-old.
“You have to score consistently, it is so important. That was something proved last year and it is going to be more important this year with all the new and fast drivers,” said Lindland.

With new drivers such as Daniel Haglöf, Johan Kristoffersson and Philip Forsman in the championship, Lindland is going to have to fight hard.
“It is going to be tougher on the top five positions this year, that is for sure. But I feel ready, we have a solid test schedule ahead of us and I really like thew new and improved car,” said Lindland.

Lindland made his debut for Flash Engineering last season, a co-operation that is going to continue this year.
“I am really pleased with the team. Our co-operation in combination with hard work gave us a great result last year and I am confident ahead of this year,” said Lindland.

New for this season is that Flash Engineering has appointed a dedicated engineer for their Porsche-drivers in the form of Paul Ridgeway.
“It feels great. I got along really well with Paul last year and this year we are going to raise the level another notch,” said Lindland.
