This weekend marks the season start of the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia 2011 season. The three Porsche drivers of Flash Engineering, Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte, Roar Lindland and Matte Karlsson, are ready.
”The winter is over, the test season has gone well and I am more than ready for a new season,” said Lindland.

The Norwegian completed his best season ever last year and ended up fourth in the championship. For this season Lindland is aiming to continue in the top five.
”My goal is to continue fighting in the top five. My motivation ahead of this season is very high, the work with the team and my engineer has worked really well during the pre-season,” said Lindland.

Team mate Prince Carl Philip starts his fourth Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia season this year. Last year was his best season so far with two sixth place finishes.
”My goal for this year is the top ten. It is a tough goal, but something to work hard for,” said Prince Carl Philip.

The Flash Engineering driver has completed three test days ahead of this season, with hard work on getting to know the new and improved Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
”It took a while to get to grips with all the new stuff, but I like the new car and I am looking forward to an exciting season,” said Prince Carl Philip.

Matte Karlsson faces his first ever Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia season. The 37-year-old completed his debut racing season last year in GT3 Cup Challenge Scandinavia.
”I am going to start off easy and then gradually increase over the season. There are a lot of new things for me and I have a lot to learn,” said Karlsson.

Karlsson fought for the title in GT3 Cup Challenge Scandinavia last year, but his ambitions for Carrera Cup are modest.
”I am not aiming that high for results yet. For me it is mainly about continuing to push my limits forward. We have had a good pre-season with tests, something that gives me a whole other level of confidence ahead of the premiere,” said Karlsson.
