Roar Lindland scored his best so far result in Porsche Carrera Cup at Gothenburg City Race Arena, gaining six points on fourth in the championship. The Norwegian qualified fourth, a position he kept for the first race and finished fifth in the second race.
”It was a nice feeling to get this result after the messy weekend at Mantorp. But I am really urging for a podium finish, it is time for that in the near future,” said Lindland.

Another happy Flash Engineering driver after the races this weekend is Matte Karlsson, finishing eight in the second race, his best ever Carrera Cup finish.
”I am really pleased! The car worked great in the rain and I did not expect such a strong finish ahead of this weekend,” said Karlsson.

Prince Carl Philip had a tough weekend with a solid ninth in the first race, but unfortunately a DNF in the second race with a broken radiator.
”I am not pleased with the races this weekend. The conditions were tricky in the second race with the pouring rain,” said Prince Carl Philip.

While the first race was held at a dry track, the second race saw a soaked track. The race was started on a dry track with just a light rain. But the rain increased in intensity a couple of laps in to the race and the red flags were brought out. All teams were allowed to change to rain tyres and the race was restarted behind the safety car.
