Turkington and ”Flash” just outside Q2

Colin Turkington and Jan ”Flash” Nilsson just missed to make it to the second qualifying session at the Gothenburg City Race Arena. Turkington’s best time was just three tenths from the fastest time.
”The car feels good but it is hard to extract that last bit of time. We will see how things are for the race,” said Turkington.

Turkington is going to start 11th while ”Flash” is going to start two places further behind.
”I am fastest of all in the first half of the track, but I am losing a lot of time in the second half. The car is good, but we have to compromise a bit in the setup to be faster overal,” said ”Flash”.

But Turkington is optimistic despite the fact that the track is hard to overtake on.
”The car is strong in the races and I am looking for revenge from Mantorp. We have also saved a couple of new tyres ahead of the race,” said Turkington.

The first race starts at 13.05 CET.
