Roar Lindland was eighth fastest in the first practice session of the Porsche Carrera World Cup weekend at Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany.
”It feels alright, the car was oversteering a bit too much for me to push maximum in the fastest corners. But the experience is just huge with more than 100 Porsche cars and party all around the track. I am looking forward to an exciting day tomorrow and we have got some changes to make on the car,” said Lindland.

Eight position among the Scandinavian drivers ment 60th position overall in the more than 100 car strong field. Team mate Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte was just one position behind Lindland, 66th overall.
”It is a tough and demanding track. I was a bit tense ahead of the test, but it got more and more fun and my driving got better and better. The spirit on the track is awesome and I think we are going to be able to find some more time tomorrow,” said Prince Carl Philip.

Matte Karlsson was 12th fastest Scandinavian and 87th overall in his 12th race weekend ever.
”One could tell rather quickly that the Porsche training course I took on this track was very important to complete. With my limited experience of racing, this is all about completing a solid race and finish with the car in one piece. The atmosphere on the track is magic, it is no doubt an experience for life,” said Karlsson.
