Jan ”Flash” Nilsson passed eleven cars from 17th on the grid to finish sixth in the second STCC race at Karlskoga.
”I had to fight really hard in this race. The car was great and sixth is not bad from the back of the grid,” said ”Flash”.

Colin Turkington started 16th, passed seven cars in the race and finished ninth after 17 laps.
”It was a tough race, but I felt on the outlap that the car was really good. I gave it my best shot, but it was not easy in all the traffic,” said Turkington.

”Flash” scored eight points in this race and Turkington scored two points. ”Flash” is sixth in the championship and Turkington seventh, 12 points behind.
”We are not where we want to be in the championship. But there are many points left to fight for and anything can happen in racing,” said ”Flash”.

STCC continues at Jyllandsringen in Denmark in two weeks.
