Roar Lindland is in with a shot to secure bronze in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia 2011. The Norwegian has got 17 points up to third ahead of this weekend’s finale at Mantorp Park.
”The goal is to get past Linus. We have got an exciting final ahead of us and I have had a good season so far this year that I want to finish off strongly,” said Lindland.

Lindland performed his best ever season last year with fourth overall in the championship. This year, Lindland has got an even better position ahead of the finale with, among other things, a strong podium finish at Karlskoga in August.
”We have consistently taken steps forward during the season and it feels rewarding to be a part of the fight for third in the season final. The fight at Mantorp is going to be really tough and I take nothing for granted, it isn’t over until the finishing flag drops in the final race. Until then it is flat out for my part,” said Lindland.

Team mate Matte Karlsson equalled his personal best during the past race weekend at Knutstorp and is aiming to take a step forward in the races this weekend.
”I am going to continue the development curve that I’ve had during the past races and be on top at the final. Last time I had one tenth to fifth, the missing tenths are going to be there now and I am aiming for top ten,” said Karlsson.

Karlsson is 13th in the championship, 28 points behind team mate Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte.
”It is always nice with a fight within the team, I am going to try and catch up with Prince Carl Philip,” said Karlsson.

Prince Carl Philip had his best Porsche Carrera Cup weekend ever at Mantorp Park in May with, among other things, a top five finish and the Swede is looking for new success this weekend.
”We had a really good weekend last time at Mantorp Park. The final is going to be a lot of fun and I am aiming to continue in the same style as last time at Mantorp,” said Prince Carl Philip.
