Multiple single seater champion Sebastian Hohenthal tested for Flash Engineering in the TTA prototype at Anderstorp earlier this week.
”It was a really good test, the car is great fun to drive and I really got a taste for more,” said Hohenthal.

Hohenthal has only raced single seaters before, claiming the Formula Renault UK title in 2006 and the Formula Ford Sweden title in 2003.
”I have mainly had my mindset on single seaters in the past and I have never really been interested in touring cars. But when ”Flash” offered me this test with the TTA car, I got interested and it was really not what I expected. The car was challenging to drive and it is really going to require a lot from the driver, I believe strongly in this concept,” said Hohenthal.

Flash Engineering, with team owner and driver Jan ”Flash” Nilsson, are currently negotiating with Hohenthal for a drive with the team in the TTA 2012.
”It is hard to find really good racing drivers and Sebastian has gone the long way through almost all single seater classes as a winner. We need properly educated drivers that are professionals and Sebastian is such a driver. I think that Sebastian is a new Mattias Ekström, one of Sweden’s best drivers and my ambition is that we are going to have our driver line-up for Flash Engineering 2012 ready shortly,” said ”Flash”.

Hohenthal last raced in the FIA Formula 2 championship in 2009, the 26-year-old could be back in Sweden for 2012.
”I had a different opinion before the test, but I left with completely different feelings. Luckily ”Flash” is going on a holiday now, but we are keeping close contact and I look forward to a continue dialogue,” said Hohenthal.
